TripleG Systems
services are offered in four packages. Each can be
up- or down-graded with additional or fewer items on request.
These configurations are summarised as follows:
Basic email support:
Responses are made as soon as practical. Examples of basic email support :
How do I install this .tgz, .deb or .rpm software?
How can we check that our fileserver is running?
What software is available to do a specific task?
How do I access a network or CD-ROM drive?
How do I restart my PPP/modem link?
Base installation and technical support
As above, plus:
Installation of base TripleG system and software.
Support of base TripleG system and software.
Regular on-site system maintenance. Examples :
Set up a new PPP connection
Add/delete users
Configure mailboxes
Set up TCP/IP wrappers
Extras (delete option)
As above, plus:
Scripting and software development
Driver installation
Compiling or building software
Complex system installation
Set up Samba for 3-machine network.
Set up/arrange permanent modem connection (usually Telstra Direct)
Basic Apache configuration
Set up IP masquerading
Set up HTTP file server
Set up print server (for Windows)
Advanced administration tasks. Examples :
Configuring quota
PHP scripting
Custom PHP builds/Installs
Custom kernel compilations/installations
Advanced (delete option)
As above, plus:
Network Design
Specialist support/development work
DNS (nameserver) set up and configuration
Full firewall configuration
Squid installation & configuraton
Tripwire installation & configuraton
Other MTA to replace sendmail (eg. postfix, qmail)
Other security tools and programs as requested
NOTE:
Delete option means you can pick and choose whichever component(s)
at that level you wish installed. We will normally install everything listed at
each level unless otherwise directed.
